Today, I wanted to bring an experiment. Try AI for Growth!
I’ve been thinking about this for a while. And I’ve been getting lots of questions. People know I am hyped about AI and started asking if I can tell them what I am doing, and how they can start. I have also been getting a lot of skeptical people on the other side, arguing, well, are we really going to stop all human beings from thinking and get machines to do everything for us? Shouldn’t we know how to create and then maybe use it for only basic stuff. And even those skeptical are starting to come around and be more and more curious. Some even have ChatGPT accounts already.
Perhaps you wonder, why are you so passionate about this. Isn’t this for big corporations for us to all loose our jobs? Yes, I am passionate about the impact in business, and how it can change the way companies work but also just open up avenues for new products and services. But I am also passionate about the impact on us as individuals – because it can make our life easier – and the impact on us as professionals, because it can change the shape of the workforce and how we approach our day-to-day jobs.
So the other day, I started writing a list of use cases I had tried, just to see if what would be interesting to share. And then a few more use cases of tools I heard and want to try out. The list is past a one pager already, so I thought I would perhaps get it out there. There are a lot of tutorials, so I wanted to share more from a user perspective, how can you start engaging. Because the rule with AI right now is only one – start engaging. Ideally now. And hopefully this podcast will give you some ideas to explore.
When I look at my list, a lot of them are cool things for fun, others are things to try out with the kids, others to make the burden of admin of a house more manageable. But there are also lots of things business related – running businesses, executing tasks, the list is endless.
Maybe you know about some of these, and if you do please do hit be back to let me know how you have been using it. But maybe you don’t and it prompts you to try (pun intended). If you do, I would love to know. And by the way, the more ideas the better so always send them my way. I will try to give a balance of AI at home, AI for work and AI for business. Some may not even have its own category as the lines blur between these worlds a lot, at least in my portfolio life.
I thought I would do this in audio and notes format (with some help with AI, more on that to come). Some people prefer to read, some prefer to listen. I am a writer, but I recognise a lot of my learning is done these days sitting in the car listening to podcasts or audiobooks. And my life is often on the go between chunks of my portfolio or just driving my kids around, so voice notes may sometimes be the only way I can produce some content. The first version of this intro actually came out while I was walking, using my time between work and picking up my son from tennis. So it is meant to fit into your life just the same way, as you see fit.
So this is the plan, I hope you enjoy it. Feedback is always welcome.
So let’s go and Try AI for growth.

Hello Sara, it’s Vincent from X. Well, I do use AI for idea articulation. I have an idea or few concept, then I go on chatgpt or meta AI to fine tune the idea. It just gives me a more articulated detailing of my concept.
I also write as well and nothing beats the emotions that pure heartfelt writing gives 💯
Hi Vincent – thanks for sharing. I am a fan of AI for brainstorming too. Any cool idea you want to share where you brainstormed with AI?
Personal development. Mainly.
What about you?
